Brake burning hot under hard acceleration

I previously posted a topic on burning smell under hard acceleration. Now I've found the smell coming from the rear wheel driver side. The wheel/brake was burning hot. Does anyone know if this a common problem with RRS? How come it only get hot when under hard acceleration and not normal driving? Could be problems with the hand brakes not releasing fully or problem with the clutch slipping causing the rear brake activating but why only just one side? Any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like hand brake shoes binding or a brake caliper sticking.

Is that a easy fix? Expensive?
