Cod, I can assure you I saved a fortune by buying a run-out 2010 FFRR, anyway there are hardly any 2010MY RRS's TDv8's in colours that I like in the dealer network. Also when I went looking it had been discontinued so no chance of a factory order either (not that I could afford the £63k for a new one!). After 2 RRS I was ready for a model change anyway and after 2 virtually fault free RRS's I would have felt really peeved if I had bought a troublesome TDv6. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

i know where you are coming from with regards to changing model, i always buy something different when i change cars - lifes too short to fit all the ones i want it! (except three imprezas on the trot, but then they were so damned addictive and more expensive to run than a cocaine habbit!)

The ease with which it picks up it's skirts and flies really makes my old TD6 FFRR seem like a tractor thanks to "The Ultimate Driving Machine's" wheezy and rattly straight 6 lump. The TDv8 in 2010MY tune feels a lot faster in real life than the figures suggest too. It also makes the much loved and recently departed TDv8 RRS seem rather agricultural too ...................................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Ok we all know the Daddy is the way to go, but this talk of it is tempting me and I don't want to do it yet. SO STOP IT. |
