I've recently bought a 2010 TDV8 -facelift (w/20" Goodyear Excellence) and I have already gone through 3 tires in under 3,00km's - in every instance the sidewalls have been damaged. The last tire was as a result of driving 25km down a secondary dirt road (v/dry, bit bumpy) and the sidewall developed a huge bubble. The first 2 blew out on the freeway. Has anyone else used these Goodyears? In case there is any uncertainty regarding speed or conditions I was following an X5 who had no problem on the same road.... very very very very frustraing to buy a car with every conceivable bit of offroad technology fitted but does not have tires/wheel that can handle the most basic conditions....
