2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
RRS Hybrid for 2012MY

Today's Autocar magazine has a half page item about the new RRS Hybrid - to have TDv6 3.0 + electric only range of 20miles with the 25kw electric motor. More astounding is that LR claim they have got the motor down to 100grm/km which beats the Lexus at 148grm/km and is the same as such eco cars as the Focus Econetic and Citroen C1. The electric motor is to be powered by batteries that will have a plug-in charge and use regenerative
power sources. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

With a 20 mile range you have to ask, what is the F Censored g point. Shocked

I also see that Eyebrows Darling is now offering a rebate for electric car drivers...........oh the irony. Just where does that power come from.

As for COP.....don't get me started !! L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

20 miles should be enough to get the car from the start of the congestion zone to a city office where you plug it in ready for the trip back out to the limits again in the evening. Can you imagine the rage of ecomentalists when they see the fleets of of these silently gliding through the city........................... as you say the irony of shifting the carbon from the car to a powerstation AND also being a Chelsea Tractor! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The 20 mile range reported is only if you use the car in Electric Only Mode. I'm sure the real
benefits will come with the "Hybrid" approach where both conventional & electric motors work in
harmony. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
