Trying to wrangle a tagalong with the D3 guys to Hampton next Saturday, been a bit hard to get the broader Sport members to agree to go anywhere.. I am still trying to find out if a stock RRS will handle where the D3's are off to, think they are all carrying serious footwear and mine runs standard ?

Interesting - have just seen this post. Been itching to go properly off road again, it's been a while..

Might be interested in getting the car dirty, after cleaning and polishing last weekend I'll have a bit to work on my wife as well, early starts never a fun one on Saturdays.

Zilch - do you know if the D3 guys are open to another sport joining? ( like you I am running standard Goodyear's on 19" rims that are standard with Brembo's )

I would say absolutely yes, just post on the D3 site and let them know you are coming, be great not to be the only Sport on the day

I am running Goodyears on 18" rims, the standard HP wranglers, nothing fancy.. have a look at the six go mad in the Snowies further down this ANZ section, most of the vehicles ran stock tyres and wheels

Meeting at the Caltex at Mt Victoria at 9 am Saturday morning, some of us are crashing overnight at the Halfway Hotel near Hampton (wife wants to go to Jenolan Caves on Sunday)

p.s. a Few wives are going, so plenty of company
