Yes, it has been rumoured that there may be a bigger TDV8 coming sometime........................ to scare those guys who think that the S/C is the best. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

would like to change my current RRS TDV8 to the new RRS or FFRR (haven't decided yet...) early next year..
however, if there's a new diesel coming out next year I'd rather wait!!

I am willing to wait, for the new diesel....But the question remains what power would it have in comparison to the 5.0 V8..... 4.X v10 400bhp, 850nm 25mpg???? I suppose we shall have to wait and see.

Dealer quoted 4.4ltr with over 800 Torques.. no mention of economy or power....

Could be just another urban myth though.... Although logic would sugggest they would need to upgarde the TDV8 for the latest emissions standards and so that LR can standardise on the new ZF gearbox across the range.
