How do you remove the head restraints?

I want to put in my new dog/boot liner, but can not work out how the restraints come off - they must be a lock switch somewhere?

Brilliant - thanks Bobby. Looked all over for this info, but should have just looked closer at the head restraint...anyway sorted!

Really incredible: If I would have seen this one week ago, I would have saved almost half an hour! Rolling Eyes Laughing

I just couldn't see the second button Embarassed and my user manual says "den Knopf" which is singular - finally I found it after 30 minutes of brude-force! Embarassed Next time I have a look at the forum before trying brude force. Thankfully the car was stronger so no damage was caused. Very Happy

Thanks Bobby, as always great job! Thumbs Up RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink

It's the same on all models.............................. I know somebody who started to use a hack saw on their FFRR's headrestraint because they thought they had broken something and the head restarint wouldn't come out - I caught him just after he had made the first few strokes of the blade, it still needed a new headrest though Big Cry . It also helps to fold the seat slightly to give more clearance on the headlining for the rear RRS seats. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yes, it really is not that easy. The button is made so perfectly, you really can't see or really feel it. I wish they would always work that precise. Rolling Eyes Wink

Perhaps a moderator should erase the word "rear" in the topic's headline? Because it's the same thing with those in the front. Question RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink

I don't think you are cut out for dog ownership if you think you can use your new dog as a boot liner!!!

Umm, the front ones on mine don't come off, something to do with the cables in them for the rear DVD screens I think Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
