For those who cannot stretch to an Aston the Sunday Times inGear section roadtests this new Zagato today - at £53k it looks a bargain with it's Corvette 6.2litre V8 engine. Available from July!

I am a lucky guy, I agree. I also work pretty hard for my money too - 30 years working offshore in the oil industry, so this is a treat and a reward! It doesn't come easy. It's been a dream to have a DB9 for a while now, and I never thought I would achieve it. Problem is, as a work colleagure ponted out - what do you get after this??? The plate doesn't come with it, as it belongs the the previous owner, but I'm putting a plate on with my initials for the time being. I'm keeping my ANT plate on retention and I might sell it or put it on something else. I've found one which is V120 OOH, which easily changes to V12 OOOH. Not sure about that one... what do you guys think? Only 5 days to go now, but I'm stuck offshore and the weather forecast is Sh*t for the next 3 days. Can't blo*dy believe it!!!!! Trying to jump on a helicopter today, but it's not looking good until Thursday. Range Rover Evoque 5 door on order. 2006Java/Alpaca/4.4HSE/PTIS/Tracker/pp/Tasmods/Black side repeaters/Custom exhaust (gone but not forgotten!) Land Rover Defender 110 CSW 200 TDi blue (Offroad prep'ed). Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Aston Martin DB9 Tungsten Silver Another Citroen C4 Grand Picasso (Christinemobile) 1990 Mini Cooper SE - classic! (now sold) New addition - 1972 Triumph Stag Pimento Red |
