My local garage, where i bought my RRS from, ordered up a retrofit bluetooth kit from our local Land Rover dealer. However the dealer, probably due to a lack of competence, did not provide the voice control unit that is needed for the bluetooth to work.

The dealership are now giving some great excuses about not knowing any delivery date for the item, (XVJ 500121) due to a Land Rover computer problem.... going by past experience that means they have not either bothered to order it, or dont know what they are doing.

Anyway, does any Land Rover dealers who come on here, know the availability of it - or even better have one in stock to sell.

I dont think you can add voice control with retro fit bluetooth.

The nokia bluetooth part your on about is the old one ...new one XVJ 500122 is well over a year old now .

The one you have listed had issues and was replaced with XVJ 500122 .

You want to be carfull they have not supplied you with the wrong LR module aswell ( they seem to be trying to sell off old stuff that had a TSB against them)

LR module is part number XVD500021 ....old one is XVD500020

So assuming you have the wiring loom , mic and steering wheel switches you need to have the following modules to make it work correctly

XVJ500122 main bluetooth voice module
XVD500021 LR connectivity module Bluetooth Exchange www.bluetoothexchange.co.uk

The nokia bluetooth part has been changed to a different part number now
