United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Java Black
Numpty question I dont really want to ask......

OK I admit that I am a lazy sod and cant be bothered with the manual

Can anyone tell me what the little door is for in the bootspace? I have a really well crafted door and handle which opens to see a void inside the rear panel. What should go in there ? (The D3 had something similar for the towbar but was significantly larger)

Any reasonable suggestions appreciated (but I would prefer to know the correct answer!)

Thanks RRS TDV6 SE Java Black +towpack +tintent +Permagrin

What a difference between this and my old Disco3

I am fairly sure it is for manual release of fuel cap door - read it on here I am sure and then needed it that week by chance as the fuel cap door would not open Shocked never used since that week !

There is a tab or catch in there i think to release the fuel cap door...

As MAW has already said it gives access to the fuel flap actuator cable which can be used to release the fuel flap if it ever sticks shut.

But this is not the real reason for the flap. The real reason for the flap is to gain access to the multi disk DVD player which is fitted to vehicles with the rear seat entertainment system. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Yes the hatch is big enough to remove and replace the multi-disk cassette from the DVD player.

Even people like Shmoogle, who have big fat sausage fingers shouldn't have a problem. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Dunkin Doughnuts? It's Krispy Kremes and nothing else. Well, the odd pie. And pizza.... and er, indian takeaway. Chinese too. Fillet steak with a nice pepper sauce and french fries.
