My fog lights decided to pop the fuse the other day - No probs thought I - I'll just replace the fuse! Ever started something and wish you hadn't? What a nightmare!!! First you have to remove the glove box by unclipping it and letting it drop into the footwell - Easy, you would think -- Didn't expect the clip to be so stiff and need such a strong pull that I would rip the nail off my thumb - Ooooouuuuch

Ok, managed to stem them flow of blood and get back to the job in hand! Found the fuse in question and the little fuse puller. Pulled the fuse -- Woohooo -- things are looking up Oh Oh --- Spoke too soon The spare fuses are mounted so low in the dash assembly that unless you have a hand the size of a 6 month old baby you can't get near the damn things - and sods law, the one I wanted was at the very bottom! whilst trying to manipulate the fuse puller in place and ignoring the agony of the cramp induced in my contorted hand I dropped the F ing thing - Oh Joy and had to watch, helpless, as it slid out of sight, and reach, into the dark recesses of the car. What F ing IDIOT designed this car -- I want his name and address so I can take a contract out on his entire family

I agree with Endjin. The whole fuse box design is fundamentally flawed

I had the washers blow a fuse last winter....pull into a garage and after 10 minutes of trying to remove the f ing unreachable spares went into the garage and bought a pack of them.

What a fiddly, painful waste of time trying to change a fuse is  Current: I can't say...Oh the Shame!
