New range rover sport... And its a project Kahn

Just bought a new TDv8 RRS and bought it direct from project kahn. Engine is awesome!

Got some pictures of it in my members photo album so would be interested in seeing what you thought of it. Am ready for some negitivity as its from kahn which seems a dirty word on this forum!

Also if any1 wants to know anything about dealing with project kahn or questions about there stuff let me know, theres not loads of information about it on the net so am happy to help.

at least you like it Jake - and since you bought one thats all that matters Thumbs Up

personally I think LR made a much better job of the RRS - both with looks and price

Cheers for your response people. And I agree its all about personal choice. Guess were all lucky that even tho its a popular car its very easy to personalise and make unique... even if its just wheel choice and side steps etc.

NickM how do you find your 22" wheels?

I have to admit after driving down from leeds bradford to Jersey I cant drive the vehicle as I have not registered it yet. After the 6th of May they scrap the vehicle registration charge in Jersey which in the range rovers case would be £3,200.

Fine mate - forget all the negative stuff you hear - yes the ride is firmer and you feel the bad roads a bit - but smooth roads are just as good as 20'' wheels.....but they fill the arches better and you notice people looking at the wheels first then the car.....they are that big!!

Are the side repeaters darkened or are they still slightly orange??

Cheers for the quick reply,

Yeah they felt great on the motorway (have u always had 22" or did you have 20" on a range rover sport previously?) I however have nothing to compare them against.

I have not had the opertunity to "curb" them on normal roads. How do you find them on that front?

I have just uploaded 2 more pictures of my side repeater lights, I sent the pictures to Project kahn as they should have been smoked but I am disputing weather or not they have been! they dont look it!

Are yours darker? would be interested in seeing yours to compare.

I have 2 sets - spents lots of time debating on which ones - I went for dark ones in the end, but you can have my white ones if you want...

Yes I had 20's before, and it was great - but form over function wins it with me - the look is more important than the ride - ok shoot me I know - but thats what I am like - I'm a designer!!!

They have def not been smoked - they are standard ones - curious also to see the entire mirror housing has not been colour coded.....makes a diference. Maybe get a local shop to do. I have the same side vents as yours - as mine came from Kahn - Kahn even sell bits on ebay!! I got mine for just £60 fully painted in Java and steel - and it had a Kahn invoice!!
