Braking News @ Lookers

Just wanted to say a big thank you to James and Matthew at Lookers Park Royal for their help.

Turns out my brakes were 12,500 miles since changing - and car now needs front and rear pads and new rear discs. Not the longest lasting pads in the business, but my heavy right foot and very late braking has something to do with it!

Guys worked me out a great price, kept the car this evening and got me into a loan car straightaway. I admit I am not the easiest customer to deal with, but the guys know how to make things right. And for what it's worth - LR Customer Service told me if I had an issue with the brake pads etc - to take it up with the supplier! Nice touch!

James and Matthew - excellent job as always!

And don't forget - DON'T WASH THE BLOODY CAR!!!!

Cheers Thumbs Up

Our pleasure Nick Thumbs Up You can see why Brembo's are Std on most of them! Mark Webber lives up the road from me; next time he's in the pub I'll ask him what brake mods he advises for you!

James Thumbs Up

Front and rear pads and front and rear discs would set you back about £700

Parts - pads front @115 rear @50 - discs about @100 a pair (plus vat)

3 hours labour £300
Big Cry

I am driving very very slowly and turning without braking!! haha

Blimey, that's about the same price and mileage as my old RS6, and I thought that was bad, and it was... Mind you, driving style does tend to make a smidgen of difference...
