I am looking at an IPOD integration kit by Neo which involves tapping into the aux input of the factory audio. Does anybody have a technical manual for the factory audio or pictures of what the back looks like with some form of layout description.

Shmoogle, thanks for that-however I need to see the back of the head unit, as I believe this is where the aux in connects to. I have read the various threads about removing the head unit and only want to do it once

The LR interface isn't all that... be interesting to see how this Alpine interface works and whether it really does give you all the touchscreen controls that you need. Once it's fitted, Ronnie, any chance you could post some pics of some of the screens and a short overview of how well it works? It's a pretty common question on here these days....

hey Bobby, thanks for the schematic it does help to some degree, but a pic of the back of a head unit would be even better!

Yep guys no probs. tthe unit is new on the market so will not be available for a few weeks mine will be the first fitted over here! It is being done by Audio Advice in Portadown but they have another shop in Scotland! Will keep u posted. the interface allows track selection and full control via the touch screen as well as allowing any videos on the Ipod to be played and also digital TV using free view. pics to follow |
