Many thanks for confirming, I will have another battle this coming weekend before changing gearbox filter / fluid.
Car has done 139K and I don't think its ever been changed.

Have been under the car most of the day trying remove.
On 3.6 it looks as the top of column has:

Changed Oil / Filter in my TDV8 I also only put about 7 litres in and Looks High on dip stick.

Wonder if JLR have correct figures LOL
