What fuel?

What fuel do you use in your very own Range Rover Sport?
How does it rate for price, performance and fuel economy?

All opinions welcome Wink

Is it a legal requirement to wear racing overalls when filling up with BP Ultimate? Laughing

I dont have a RRS yet. However In the 5 series I always put Shell V-Power in their.
Believe it or not I've noticed a difference to the cheaper less octane petrol.
I also know BMW reccomends you put the higher octane fuels in the petrols (dont know about diesel never had one).
Mum always puts the V-Power in her weeny 3 series. Michael Potter

Just out of interest, has any person had an engine re-map in order to improve fuel economy? I just thought I'd ask as i would be using the vehicle as a normal day to day vehicle rather than as a high performance vehicle, for which many of the people on this forum seem to own a Range Rover Sport.

Thank you for your opinions.

Remap added 10% to my like-for-like economy, although the irresistible urge to floor-it soons cancels out that particular advantage. I always use the cheapest diesel with a large shot of Redex, especially after finding no appreciable benefit in performance or economy from the highly expensive BP Ultimate. However, that's in-town driving, perhaps motoway or rural is different? Question

Well; let me tell you. I don’t have my RRS yet, both I use the best fuel I can find. On my FLsport TD4 I use Shell V-power Diesel or similar from Repsol YPF Diesel E+10 with good results. In my Disco2 V8 at Mexico we only have 2 options: regular 87 or Premium 92 Shocked ; yes, believe it or not only 92 octants, no more: so… PREMIUM. Big Cry
Can you imagine a RRS SC in Mexico with 92? Banging Head so; TDV8 in Spain for me!Idea is coming Java Black Yuri
