Looks like it has the side vents from the RRS... from what is poking out behind the tree (is that actually attached to vehicle, I wonder? I heard of test cars being disguised but that's just silly! ) it actually looks quite smart.

A lot of camo still on the car, particularly the front. The diesel is supposed to produce 180bhp so it should be a flier. I'm looking at one for the wife to replace her (shhhh ) Frontera |

I bet when it finally breaks cover for launch it doesn't have the current Freelander nose, something more like the Sport and Discos. Wonder if it will have a split taigate like Disco3 or retain the side opening door?

I've only driven a Freelander once, which was recently when the dealer gave me a new one while our RRS was in for the day.

No TDV6 but there is a black badged variant The front looks very Freelander like, the side view is D3 like and the rear RRS like. |
