How much to repair ?

Guys failed MoT today with the following

Nearside Front Lower Suspension arm pin or bush excessively worn (5.3.4 (a) (i))
Offside Front Lower Suspension arm pin or bush excessively worn (5.3.4 (a) (i))

Garage said it was the arms not bushes - how much to supply and fit, is it a big job ? [/u]

Meyle H/D front lower arm kit includes both arms and all bolts washer etc. from some one like Advanced Factors for around £350 - 400.00 mark, top quality and 4 year warranty, less than price of one genuine arm from L/R. Not overly difficult to fit unless the front bolts are rusted in, then becomes a lot more work as they have to be cut out. You would also need 4 wheel alignment done afterwards.

Cheers

Just did these on the wife's D3 and an inner drive shaft gaitor while I was under there. Have got os todo on my sport.

As long as the bolts are not siezed it's a simple job and as mentioned get the kit from AF

The bushes are in the arms. Strange. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
