Thanks for the reply. That’s very interesting as I have changed the rear shoes and pads just recently. The shoes were pretty rough against the backing plate but cleaned and lubed everything up. I wonder if I’ve put something back together incorrectly?

Can also be worn control arm bushings. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Most common bushings are front end lower arm rear bushings and rear end upper arm front bushings. This doesn’t mean nothing else will be bad, but they’re the typical culprits. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Thanks guys, your input is much appreciated. I think I can rule out the rear brakes. The shoes nor the pads seem to be binding as the car rolls freely on an incline and no excessive heat build up on the disks when driven. I’ll check the aforementioned bushes. |
