So with this warmer weather iv had restricted performance x2 days running on the motorway on my supercharged so it looks like the aux coolant pump has failed.
Iv found the how to guide, had a look see and was going to check the wiring at some point any ways.......but it looks like the pump has failed completly as its not running with key in position 2 or when the engine is running.

Can some one confirm that the pump should run constantly and if there is a fuse for it the owners book is not much use nor is search or Google.

Yeah it should. I had a similar problem last summer. I replaced the pump and checked the wiring. It hadn't been changed so the pump had been running backwards since 2006. Was easy enough job. There is a TSB about the wiring but I can't remember the number sorry.

Google LTB00041 plenty of info. will come up.

Thanks guys, got all that. The wiring was back to front iv rewired the plug connected it back up and nothing soooooo hit the pump with the end of a screw driver and it fired up.

It's been running backwards since 2006 do the brushes inside will be worn the wrong way I'm gonna cycle the ignition a few times and keep checking yo make sure it's still going .

It doesn't sound to healthy so gonna order a new pump and replace just to be sure

Decided to swop out my failing supercharged aux cooling pump it was wired back to front from factory but dispite my rewiring it correctly and the pump running after a whack with the end of a screw driver it just didn't recover.

I read a few old how to guides but they all seemed a bit erm crap...wish I had taken some photos.
I can confirm removing the headlight is pointless, to swop out the coolant pump was pretty easy in the end.
Remove fan couling
Unplug the electrical connector from the bottom of the pump access is via the black plastic cover removed by x4 push fit rivets.
Remove x1 left hand side aux clamp bolt as you look down at it 8mm don't even try to undo the right hand side clamp bolt. The only thing holding it in place are the x2 hoses, unclip these but NOT at the pump end. X1 hose at the top T piece and x1 at the rad end.
Then it's just a case of pulling the pump up and out from the tiny little space it lives in, you will need to wiggle it a bit and feed the long hose threw but it will come out.

Now you have your old aux pump with hoses attached on the deck swop them over to your new pump and refit in reverse, top up and bleed. You won't lose much coolant either so don't worry.
Total job time maybe 35 mins.

Well that new ebay aux pump has failed all ready will be fixing the old pump iv stripped it down the brushes are worn out no surprise there. Will take a few photos and post back just gotta find those spare motor brushes I keep safe just incase I ever need them.

Genuine bosch pump arrived today, 15 mins start to finish. Replaced the bonnet sensor to as the alarm was random going off. Don't waste your time on the cheap ebay pumps.

Iv stripped the old pump down and am waiting on new brushes so iv a fully refurbed 1 sitting on the shelf if ever needed.
