Suspension Control Unit

In an attempt to get rid of "Suspension Fault", I need to replace the air suspension control unit. Looks like it'll be a lot of fun getting access!

Will I need to do any jiggery-pokery with a computer afterwards, for example is it VIN-locked?

Thanks,

Hugh

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

The workshop manual says that the new unit needs to be "initiated", whatever that means. You'll also need to calibrate it to the ride height sensor settings - maybe that's what they mean by initiating it.

Be careful when removing the connectors - I had a transient issue with my TDV8 that ended up being a loose wire that appeared to have been loosened by a tech pulling on the wires when undoing the plug. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks, Wayne.

I hope the local indie does house-calls to my SORNed vehicle!
