No way would I be going to a dealer at that age, unless perhaps it was an SVR

Think my 6 year service was £450 or so using genuine parts Joined the X5 45e club

Local Indy, if it’s a decent one they can update on line service history, ask them first Joined the X5 45e club

my local indie has quoted £1136 for an 84 month service which includes timing belts which seems reasonable

Avoid LR main dealerships for any work other than manufacturer's warranty or recall work. For everything else, use a decent specialist LR independent. Don't use a "local garage" unless they are a specialist in LRs. Likewise a "4x4 garage".

A specialist LR indie will be able to do everything a dealership can do - mine even updates the online service record. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Just had my 48k/3 year service done on a 2018 SDV6 (with only 14k on the clock though) at a main dealer. Invoice showed £337.82 inc VAT, although it cost me nothing as I have a 5 year service plan with the car. They said it would have been more had I been paying for it myself as the service plan gets better rates. I don’t know what discount they get, but it’s still not cheap for a few filters, oil and brake fluid changes!!
