Just a quickly for the pot.
Just sold my old Disco 3 with 250k miles on her back and 15 years of ownership ( still runs as smooth as silk ).
Used to change the oil every 6k miles...yes I know over kill, however, car never missed a beat.
Would like to do the same with my new to me Sport Sdv8. A/B 2016.
I used castrol magnatec in the old disco.

Which oil is the the correct oil for my SDV8 ???
Would ideally like to use the Castrol Magnatec, but which one??

Something starting C
for cars with DPF

As you have a DPF, you will need an ACEA C1 oil with a viscosity of 5w30 that meets Ford specification WSS-M2C934-B

Personally, I use Smith and Allan Momentum C1 in my SDV8:
