Or there's always the option of mounting the charger within the car itself...

I use one on the inside front windscreen that plugs into the OBD port and seems to work well enough if I'm going to leave the car for a week unused. Just need to make sure I park facing the sun!! 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue 2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time? |

Well, I was thinking of putting it in the front windscreen as where I park, the car is facing south |

Can anyone tell me and others that might want to know what gauge wire and what size spade connectors are required to do this safely? And would it be any safer with a fuse between the spades? =========================================== 2012 Range Rover Sport Autobiography 3.0 SDV6 8 speed Automatic Indus Silver with Hockenheim premium two-tone leather Ebony/Lunar, |

I did not want to be changing the existing wiring to the original socket & have never used it anyway. That is why I added a new socket with inline fuse. When not in use it has a cover that shields it. Only a couple of pounds from Ebay Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e |
