Lot of negative posts there to cause you some worry. If I was the dealer, after all the bother you have had & cost & time to them, they don't want the car coming back after fitting the new engine. I am sure they will do a good job. It's not worth their reputation to do shoddy work & its just as easy to do a good job as a bad one. It's typical forum posts, every garage is |

Lindab the reason for the more hostile posts are the garage only offered £500 for the engine failure and saying not covered by the warranty, it was only when the finance company stepped in that they agreed to do anything (maybe because it would cause them a bigger issues long term with finance companys), so i would think they are going to do it cheap as possible to cover the true cost (if they slap an engine that lasts more than 3 months they are covered), if they wanted a good reputation they would have put it right first time or offered a refund, not being forced to do the work. Just my opion. |

It’s not right if it says overfill, it’s either too much or a dodgy sensor, make sure you report it in wring (e mail or letter) so it’s recorded. Joined the X5 45e club

No no no. You need CA to send you a draught letter that you put your details in and faults with the vehicle. Then send it to the dealer via signed for post.
