If it's got the steering wheel buttons, then I would imagine it should (you can sign up for TOPix which will tell your build spec). The clock spring can often be the cause of problems, and/or the small wire loom. Do the other buttons work?

Not sure you can get the build spec. on older vehicles now even if you pay for a subscription on topix.

First of all, Hi, and welcome to the mad house. 165k, no history. Now that's brave. Hopefully you got it for a song. It might be worth asking a LR specialist to have a look at the car's CCF (configuration file) to see whether cruise is actually activated. Someone might have had problems with it and deactivated it. Or it might not have been fitted at all. If it's activated in the CCF, then at least you know you're chasing a physical issue such as a switch or wiring. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Just a really silly thing but just in case, you have to be going over 19.9 mph for CC to work.
