Rear parking sensors

My 2011 RRS autobiography needs two rear parking sensors replaced I was told this morning, any suggestions where best to buy them, there is a confusing array on eBay and Amazon and I don't want to buy the wrong thing?

Hello Keith. I have a 2011 RR Sport. I ordered 4 rear sensors in June from ceo1shop ,a place in Hong Kong. Took 3 weeks to reach me in UK. Price in total was £19.72 delivered for all four. Fitted them in July, still going strong. Part no. LR024299.Hope this helps.

Thanks Ian, great help, but just one point the two outermost sensors are colour coded and look different, can you attach the ‘coloured’ bit the new one?

I think you may need to check that part number as that particular sensor was never fitted to a 2010-2013 Sport although it would appear to work. The one listed is now LR038084 the old number was LR010927.

You will also need to colour code the new sensors yourself unless you can find some already painted in your colour.

Cheers
Col

They may well work but according to L/R that is the Outer and Wing Mirror sensors for cars fitted with the depth wading system. The RRS1 never had that fitted, although the D4 did, personally I wouldn't rely on e-bay numbers necessarily being the correct numbers. In addition they are listed as Front not Rear.

Cheers
Col

No Keith. They are fixed in black and do not come apart.

I finally got it fixed, they had to take the rear bumper off and traced a broken wire, as it turned out I didn't need the sensors but for all the cost I will just hang on to them.

Thanks again for all the assistance.

Keith Very Happy
