Had the same problem on my D3, dealer changed then as they were "the wrong type" fitted at manufacturer. Now as good as gold & don't scrape at all. |

Got mine replaced at almost 4 months with abount 4k miles on clock. Wife's D3 was replaced after only 2 months & 1500 miles. Both warranty and "known issue" to tech guy in service department (rather than service receptionists or manger). |

I had problems with the wipers on my RRS. Search this forum for the old posts. The rubber had split away and they were only a few months old.

My replacements have had a good number of hours use (in this especially wet drought!!) incl 500 miles of constant use on one trip. I'll have a look at the part number tomorrow on may car, we can see if same as yours Matt. |

I tried looking for a part number, but as the arms don't lift off the screen much, it makes it very difficult.....without climbing up onto the bonnet. Matt

What you need to do is to start the wipers and when they get half way switch the car off and then you can get to the wiper properly that what i had to do with the merc to change the wipers on that they forgot to do them when it went in for a service RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

I replaced my wiper blades after a few weeks of ownership [ at my cost ] only cost about £4 each so couldn't be arsed to bother the dealer. However after a short holiday period of silent wipes - they soon became noisy again - Only last weekend I was about to committ death by Bongo - the noise was deafening
