United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black
one or two EGR's should I do both at same time

TDV8 2007 model high mileage at 158k

EGR valve fault showing on diagnostics, should i renew both or just the faulty one?
Local indie garage LR specialists but high St prices quoted about £600-00 each and can do in isolation, what to do?

Help please.

Blank them with a kit and if necessary have it blanked off in the ECU if a dash light comes on.

Happy to stand corrected. If it has a DPF then, no it can’t. The 4.4 in the full fat can’t as it has a DPF. Visitor from fullfatrr.com

hmm....

i did broach this option of a remap that takes out the egr but then he said that as the car is a bit older and has high mileage it may become smokey.

Im also concerned about MOT failure in the future, are these things I should be concerned about?

Any opinions on the price quoted by the RR garage @ £600-00 each, sounds expensive to me but the car is gonna be a keeper for the next couple of years if nothing else goes wrong?
