Is the bag full of white powder and has the car recently been abroad? If so UK Customs missed out! There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley

Can you put it in a sealed bag & post it to me so I can check it out .I think it’s to stop rattles etc as my L494 has similar in the bonnet vents I’ve noticed when I’ve been washing it. Andy.

My vents have it as well, looks like sound absorbing material inside, and as the vents don't appear to actually do anything, I think it is to stop draughts and wind noise from entering the cabin. 2010 3.6 TDV8 HSE (Gone)

With all the design facilities & engineers LR have at their disposal, I wonder how the design review meeting went when someone said " lets scrunch up a plastic bag & stick it in the hole" , , , , |

I’d love to spend £50k plus on a car that has plastic bags from the staff canteen bin stuffed into it. Do you have to take it back every 4-5 years for a new one? Could have at least used a Waitrose bag |

Both side vents are used on the S/C as they are air intake vents for the air filters I believe, not sure why that's stuck in there though, insulation of some sort I guess.
