Some news on my additives journey. Previously the car ran fine, no DPF or performance issues, but having always used BP Ultimate etc I thought I try this instead, especially after watching fuel additive videos from Project Farm on YouTube. I started in mid-June, perhaps 2,000 miles ago (car is now just under 42,000 miles, nearly 9 years old).

I added:
Archoil AR6400-D MAX Professional Diesel Engine, Turbo, DPF & CAT Cleaner Concentrate, the entire 400ml with a full refuel on top. Standard diesel, not premium.

Not long after getting my RRS 3 years ago I used the AR6400-D and most tankfuls use the AR6900-D and although my trips are mostly less than 10 miles I've never yet had any running issue's, DPF or anything. FOr me it was just preventative after reading all the DPF stories.
My wife is the same short trip running with her Evoque, she got a few engine management lights shortly after getting it 2 years ago so started using the AR-6900-D (after an AR6400-D clean) and hasn't had any issue's since.

Tyrefitter, looking forward to hearing if there’s a noticeable difference. But the main thing is preventative maintenance. (Which is why ongoing treatment seems like a good idea).

insiorc, the glass jars seem perfect size, I got the 80ml ones. They feel like they could drop into the tank but in reality I don’t think they would due to the angles and my sensibly firm grip. ilard,i had no problem emptying the 400ml into the tank,i may just get some 80ml bottles like you have then put 80ml in every time I fill up.Prevention is better than cure as they say.I will keep you informed of any difference in performance,economy ect. Andy.

The AR6400-D just dumps straight in, agreed that is simple. You must not use AR6400-D all the time, though!

So if you are going to follow ongoing treatment you need the AR6900-D product. It comes in a 1 litre bottle with a 50 ml dispensing measure at the top and it's a real faff to dole out 80 ml or so accurately. Especially in a busy fuel station, gah the pressure!

I've been using a 100ml syringe to suck up the required amount, then dump it in the tank in one go. I could never get all the stuff out of that dispensing bottle, but I do like the idea of those bottles. 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine

Was a hot thing n highly recommended on disco forum for the 2.7 tdv6 disco engines.

Ash3, I have been using 2 stroke for a couple of months now after reading this. Long read but a lot of research has gone into it.
Don't know if its made a difference as these things are subjective, but thought I would give it a try. Early days yet
