Correct Battery for 2013 RRS1 Supercharged

As far as I am aware my MY2013 RRS1 5.0 litre supercharged is still running its original battery. As its coming up to seven years old I'd like to change the battery as a precaution against electrical gremlins. I'm looking at a Bosch S4 with the following spec:

Amp Hours: (Ah): 95Ah
•Cold Cranking Amp: (CCA): 800cca
•Length: 353mm
•Width: 175mm
•Height: 190mm

Will this be ok as it's one being recommended on Eurocarparts? Is there anything to be careful of when changing the battery so not to throw out the electrics during the swap?

Thank you in advance.

AGM or WET? Stop/Start?

Tayna batteries have good reviews and may well give a forum discount.
There's no YUASA listed, and that would be my choice..

Yours I believe is an 020? 2011 MY D4 HSE

I fitted a Yuasa 5020 to my SC, it’s longer by 40mm at 393mm but it fits tightly (I think the Diesel uses the same size), spec below.

Type: Calcium
AH Value: 110Ah
Bench Charge: 6.0 Amps
CCA - Start Up Power: 900
Dimensions (LxDxH): 393x175x190mm
Guarantee: 5 Years
Guarantee Period: 5 Years
Startup Power: 900 Amps
Weight (kg): 26.7

It has a little more oomph than the 019.

Halford sell them as Yuasa HSB019 and HSB020 and Yuasa sell them as 5019 and 5020

GSF have 60% off with code VIP60 today (and nearly every day) but I find they over inflate prices so that with a discount it brings them down to the same price as every other dealer.

If it’s a Bosch you want, have a look at the next size up which should be 020 or a variation of that standard. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

That battery should be fine, same spec. as I fitted on mine however I did fit a Varta G14 AGM.

You will not have any problems when swapping battery over, no codes or anything needed, if I remember correctly all you will have to do is reset the date as it defaults to 2009 and reset the electric windows "one touch operation" easy enough, also the sunroof if you have one. Apparently the BMS system will self calibrate itself over time so no need to reset that.

Cheers

With regards to changing the battery, unlock the car, open the bonnet and leave it for 10 minutes before disconnecting the old battery. This will give the car plenty of time to power everything down. If you pull power before it’s in stand by, it could/can do funny things. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Thank you for the help so far. How do I know if I need a 'wet' or 'AGM' as the Tanya website shows both lists?

You don't specifically need a AGM that was just my personal choice, a wet battery was standard fitment and quite adequate.
