I’ve just done the pre-summer leather treatment. I use Autoglym leather cleaner followed by leather balm, I do this twice a year pre & post summer. Anyway my wife made a comment shouldn’t the seats be shiney. To be honest I can’t remember ever having shiney seats and I actually prefer the Matt look and feel.

Matt, always Matt finish. If they are shiney you are leaving product on them or they are dirty. Try dr leather wipes or spray. Modern leather does not need any balm just a good cleaner.

I also use the Dr Leather wipes which are great. I also use them on the cloth parts of the interior like on the A and B pillars and they are amazing at wiping off any dirt. Kev

Shiny if you drive the thing lots, matt if you polish it lots.  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
