Hi

Replaced rear right level sensor on a RR sport 2006. the original was temperamental. with no errors but on the denso screen 4x4 setting the back rear wheel was showing jumpy..

Replaced the level sensor now coming up with a suspension fault with a car sign and arrow. The level sensor is a aftermarket part.

could that be faulty?? or does it need setting via diagnostics kit.

Note: in the 4 x 4 settings the rear right wheel is showing lower than the other 3 with a red line underneath but the car looks pretty level from the rear

any advice please much appreciated in advance

If it needs re claribratin would a suspension fault show?? Even if it looks level visually

Don't want buy another one if this is the case

Or it could have been a sensor wiring fault in the first place.

But the original sensor was not throwin any faults??

Completely broken an intermittent wire ?

Does it need re clarabatin on a sensor fit??

Would it throw a suspension fault on a replacement?? Until recalabration??

It requires calibration but shouldn’t be so bad it puts the light on.

Not sure what happens if you replace sensor without disconnecting battery. 😔

Maybe worth clearing the codes or removing the 20A fuse under the bonnet, for a bit
