2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Java Black

Anyone painted the side trim on their sidesteps?

My sidesteps really look scruffy.. the silver trim doesn't clean well.

Was thinking of spraying them. Has anyone else done this? What prep did you do etc?

If you have a L494 then they are easy as they are only riveted on,I removed mine & had them colour coded,I’m not sure about the L320 as I’ve never really looked how the trim is held on.

2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue

Rivets,,,,, unless they. Corrode, then nothing holds them on 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
Many years ago,,,,, 1955 series 1 landie , sometimes wish I had kept it

I replaced with stainless ones ,,that’s the reason I painted them,the original rivets corroded so I removed the trim & got them painted before replacing Andy.

Cheapest I have seen is Black Gaffer Tape, looked very very good, guy claimed it lasts for over 12 months. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

They do some replacements on ebay, not sure about quality or fit,
but they look ok if you want to keep the original look they came with..
