My garage said the fault code was compressor - I’m just thinking ahead about what the height sensors will cost and either bring ready to go that way if needed OR getting both done whilst they have it in.

I had my driver's side rear done from a local garage and charged me 1 hour labor. They said it took them 30mins to change but had to charge me for 1 hour .

I've got a shiny new compressor ready to fit now, but still struggling with the ride height sensors...

What are the number of the one's you have, and are they 3 pin connector or 6 pin? although the should interchange.

I would suggest that you have the Hitachi compressor and not the AMK.

I think you need to establish if you have a Hitachi or AMK compressor fitted first, on your Vin No. it should be a Hitachi unless it has already been changed previously, it is easy enough to tell the difference with the plastic cover removed as they mount totally different to the chassis, which is why the AMK kit is expensive as you need the new mounting bracket, new type relay for the fuse box, a software upgrade and even the plastic cover. If you already have a AMK fitted you don't need the full kit, just the compressor unit. L/R themselves no longer supply the Hitachi one. If you post a picture of the one currently fitted it is simple enough to tell you if it is AMK or Hitachi as said previously.

This is the photo the mechanic took to get me the part number... can anyone tell which compressor it is from this?

That is a totally obsolete part number so there is a very strong possibility it is the original Hitachi, the part number will eventually supersede to the AMK one I suspect, because as I said L/R themselves do not supply the Hitachi anymore. However you could try LR015303 or LR023964. Google the numbers and see what turns up Island 4x4 always used to be very good.

I matched those numbers to the part I bought... I thought I'd got it nailed! |

I think LR015303 may have superceded to LR023964 anyway.
