Hi everyone,

I prefer to do left-foot braking, but the brake pedal is way too far to the right for me to do so effectively.

Has anyone done a mod to their RRS to move the brake pedal more to the left?

Any suggestion would be much appreciated, thanks  --

Would it not be easier just to move your leg across..

yeah, but it gets very tiring to do so when driving long distance --

Sort of obvious, get a piece of aluminium & screw it to the pedal as an extension. Depending how long you need it, it may have to be braced behind. If your unable to do it yourself any fabrication shop can do it for you

Does modifying brake pedals affect the MOT though?

When you say driving long distance, how far and on what road type?

If you respond to red lights from cars ahead or traffic lights (lifting off the throttle) this will reduce how often you need brake, hence less times you need to use your left foot.

I hardly ever use my brakes on a motorway and knowhere near as often others do on A roads or in town. 2010 3.0 TDV6 RRS Overfinch GTS

I would imagine your insurance would be void in the event of an accident

why not make wider footrest?

long distance for us is anything between 400-1000km, sometimes half of that is gravel.

good point regarding the insurance, although people with impaired mobility have modifications done to the pedals?

Also, left-foot braking is very handy off-road --
