Washer pump

Hi does anyone know the route of the front windscreen washer pipe have changed the pump but the washer only seems to work on passenger side.No matter which way i configure the washer jets so i assume it has a kink or has anyone else had this problem have removed battery and looked around can see it as it disappears around the bottom of screen but cant see it anywhere else till it appears at the front of car also the rear washer ha no water coming out but pump works Thumbs Up

its within the wiring loom

If you remove the passenger front wheel arch plastic liner, you should get a better view of it.

But first I would remove the drivers washer jet, pull it and the pipe tight/tought, press the wash button with the other hand. and see if you get wet.

Thanks it does come out of the pipe but very slowly but hardly if any from the nozzle does not seem to make any difference if i take out the one way valves so from the top it goes down under the wing Thumbs Up

Can you blow through the pipe? Cheap screen wash does a good job of turning to jelly. Mine got blocked and I cleared it by running boiling water through the pipe work. Watched all the crap spit out on the screen. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

What car is it? The L320 has a big water bottle with the pumps and pipe work between the front bumper and wheel arch liner. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Can get them both working now by taking out one way valves but the spray is really weak so maybe some white Cingular in there to clear the pipes out Question

Look at this link, scroll down to Bobs post and you can see a photo showing the location of the bottle on the right of the photo (left of car).

Put some boiling water in the bottle and run it through. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Yeah have had all that off mate nothing to be seen there got both sets working but the jets are not even hitting the screen so hopefully the white vinegar will help clean it out as the pump is a new one so all it can be is a blockage or a trapped pipe but can’t see where they really go without stripping out half the top end by the battery Thumbs Up

often cars have a filter in the grommet between the pump and bottle.
This gets blocked and results in poor performance.

IF you remove the small pump, water should gush out like a fountain. If it only dribbles a little the filter is blocked. Remove filter and clean.

(get someone else to clean the filter while you hold your thumb over the hole!) or have a bucket of warm water handy to clean it in.

Did you remove the black seal between pump and bottle?
