They can not visually inspect, so if they see blanking plates (assuming they know what they’re looking for) then it may be a fail.

They were talking about checking for ECU fault codes last year (or year before) and for checking for chipped cars, but didn't get introduced yet |

So, I have a fresh mot and I want to blank my egr. I have seen 2 kits on eBay. One 2 piece and a 4 piece which has some seals fitted. I want to leave pipework in place. Also, on viewing the howto list I saw butterfly removal. May I ask the reason for this please?

While we are on the subject of MOT testing - does the stop/start system get checked at all? MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

If they start checking for chipped cars where would that leave me with my Alive reprogrammed ecu ? And the rest of us with similar mods ? |

Not an issue at the moment, and not one that I can see even in the future. Too many variables and unknowns, and I expect a workaround would also be possible if the worst were to happen |

Cheers Mikey. Always appreciate you taking the time to post so often here and on the Disco site. Especially when you've got a busy garage to run. |

If I decide to blank the EGR's on my EU4 07 plate do I have the specific patching software loaded on my IID Tool or do I have to purchase a software patch from GAP or other? RRS 2.7 HSE Stornoway Grey
