I am pants at DIY. Will I be able to spray this?

Rather than purchasing a new front grill for my HST for sixty eight pounds, I was thinking of taking it off and spraying it myself.
Any thoughts on this?
If you think I can what spray should I use?

Thanks

by the fact your asking if we think you can spray it yourself suggests you have little experience and probably no kit. I assume you would use rattle cans rather than a gun? My answer would be yes you can, but how good you want the result to look and how good it will look to others is something else. I’ve been hobby spraying for about 10 years and I would class myself as a competent amateur but not good enough for my expensive car. Amateur paint finishes tend to orange peel or have surface imperfections, especially on large flat surfaces and then you have to wonder how long it will last. I personally would save yourself the hassle of prepping your existing grill and just buy the one you want. That way if you have an issue, they can sort it out at their cost. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Could buy a new grill and sell the old one to offset some of the cost.

Cheers

I fancied keeping the original HST one however will purchase a new one in black instead of attempting to spray.

The original number plate is PT56 HST

Is it a fluke that it has HST on the number plate? 2006 RRS Supercharged 4.2 HST muthuaflecka!
