heck your fan is working it should sound noisy when you start the car and then quiet and when iy starts to get hot you should hear it if it come on but it does sound like the viscous is maybe not working correctly if it only does it in traffic |

Some say if you can hold the fan when it’s supposed to be on when temp is high it means the viscous is knackered but never had the bottle to try to be honest |

and 350 quid for a new fan is cheaper than prosthetic fingers! |
