Sally, that is a stunning colour! And I also think it looks better without the contrast roof. I have said a number of times here that MY18 does not sound anywhere near as good as the previous model. But, it does get better. I have done 890 miles in mine and it has improved - but still not as good as it should / could be. My biggest worry when I ordered mine was the two-tone steering wheel but i think it looks ok. And yes the SVR badge on the steering wheel! Do you have carbon fibre interior trim? I do on mine and the badge just looks a mess on the carbon fibre part of the steering wheel. Enjoy and look forward to seeing some more pics! Congratulations Sally what a lovely colour! Will really pop in the sun! Look after it as I’m guessing it will show a lot of swirl marks if not washed correctly.

My hubs is a detailer so no problems there. He needs it for a few days for ceramic, not sure I want to be away from it just yet!!

The colour is beautiful and i’m Sure that it looks even better in sunlight - I think had it come with a black contrast roof you would have never noticed it as the body colour is so dark. Hope that you weren’t charged for a contrast roof if you are happy without it. It makes me smile when you hear these factory bids who reckon that you cannot improve on their standard of finish! When mine went to be detailed and G Technique applied last October I couldn’t believe how much better it looked after the detail, and the car was 2.5 years old and had been Autoglym Lifeshine treated before delivery........... the detailer showed me photos of lots of small paint defects ( not stone chips or jet washer damage) that they found under the clear coat and they had “rectified” ....... 2.5vyears down the road the car looked way better than it did on delivery! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Looks great Sally, hope you liked the presentation of it ! I thought it was special. Mine has 1200 miles on it now and very happy .. regarding the sound track, my take is that it is quieter than my MY15 SVR at low revs but with a foot full of throttle it comes alive ! |
