I gave up trying to remove the covers as the instructions I found required you to dismantle the entire front bumper.

Thanks for the quick reply - I actually prefer the silver so want to remove the black . According to Topix they should be able to pull straight off - I will keep trying or maybe I need to consider your easier option 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

You could buy the eBay black "over covers" and then rattle can spray them (before fitting) with an etch primer and then with the silver colour you want. |

Thanks for the definitive answer looks like I'm taking a bumper off next week how come you went from black to silver ? My Auto Dynamic has the factory standard black finishers but I prefer the silver brightwork changed all the rest as per 16MY brochure - seems a shame to stop at the fog light covers

Maybe it’s my old age but I think that little bit of shine on an otherwise black front makes it look more aggressive......looks like a low down set of screwed up eyes. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

My bad before and after is actually after and before I went from silver to black I had it with everything done except the fog covers but it was rather unsubtle or more like a huge spot on your nose so I ended up swapping them as well Good luck with the change 👍 |
