car wouldn't start - key and car don't recognize each other

Hi Wink

My RR Sport TDV8 3,6 Diesel ( 2007 model ) doesn't start anymore.
I charged and checked the battery ( only 3 months old ) so that's OK.

When I put my key in the ignition , nothing happens...
So I thought maybe my key is faulthy, I've send my key to a company ( The Master Locksmith ) for new battery and they said it's working properly.

Still nothings happens , position 1 and 2 , even the dasboard doesn't light up.

So I think the car ( ECU ) isn't talking with my key.

What could be the problem ?

Thanks in advance !!

Kind regards,
Quadcrosser

It's not the key.

Just old barrel switch or cjb computer.

Ignition lights should come on regardless of imboliser from key

But nothing happens or light up...

What's the CJB computer please ?

Central Junction Box.

It's basically part of the fusebox, which sits behind the glovebox and a computer which controls the cars systems.

Do the cigar/power sockets have power is pos I ?

Yes, the 12V socket works.
Also the radio and screen works fine.

The dashboard only says : Key in ignition , but all the rest of the dash doesn't work...
