I haven't done the Cheshire one but have done Eastnor, it is certainly worth the longer trip and paying the additional fee to upgrade to the full day. Dunkeld is pretty good too 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Done both, but Eastnor is better imo as it is more extensive and rather more challenging especially in mid Winter. Cheshire (Peckforton) is pleasant plus there is a nice inn - The Pheasant at Burwardsley not far away with great views over the Cheshire Plain which is dog friendly also. |

I've only been to the centres Peckforton Castle (Cheshire) and Coniston Hall (North Yorkshire) in the past so cannot comment on Eastnor. My experience at Peckforton was far less 'hands on' than at Coniston (which may have been down to the individual instructor on the day). My driving experience was limited to a few muddy tracks - not especially challenging - with the instructor doing the more interesting stuff. By contrast Coniston was 'hands on' all the way and much more enjoyable!!

Lode Lane is worth considering, however the best has to be Eastnor. You will note on part of the Eastnor course a couple of closed 5 bar gates, this for the proper off road test/development, it is where Land Rover test vehicles themselves. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
