I have driven a 2016 Aut Dyn Sport same spec as mine in Spain, it had the remote app enabled to set the aircon by engine start to make getting in bearable (as in possible!!) in summer. But now I got my own 16 Aut Dyn, i find the page on the remote app isn't even there.

It's obviously just activated via the ECU, but not in UK (must be something to do with the legality of a locked vehicle not being allowed to run without an occupant is imagine, or some other reg…) - has anyone activated it or had it done?

Can't comment on the 2016 but the 2017 is quite happy to run with the doors locked and no occupants so it isn't a legal issue. Good luck 2017 SDV6 Autobiography; Carpathian Grey, Ivory, Soft Close, Extended Grand Black.

I too think it is a legal issue, the page for the remote start isn't there for me either.

And i know that it is not allowed in Switzerland to run the engine idle without intention to drive the car. Even start it manually, turn on the heating and then start scraping off the ice from the windscreen before you drive is forbidden. You would have to to this without motor running before you take off.

So I think it is dependent on where the car is registered/located whether you see this page or not.
