L322 to RRS?

Has anyone gone from a L322 Range Rover into a Sport? I've an 02 plate 4.4v8 which isn't the tidiest and it's due it's MOT this month which I'm expecting to be expensive. I've recently started looking at the Sport and am thinking I quite fancy one (06 plate probably). If anyone has how do they compare? Mine runs on LPG so I'm quite heavy footed due to the sound it makes Twisted Evil I'd happily have a sport on LPG or the 2.7d is most likely.

Cheers

I had a V8 L322 converted to LPG a few cars back. Had a few issues with it and lost faith so sold it 10 months later.

Bought a 2005 TDV6 Sport HSA Oct 2016 and have been very pleased with it. Its not quite as opulent as the L322 but its very comfortable, practical and economical. I have had it remapped and it performs very well and returns around 30mpg. My son has a 2003 diesel L322 and that it like a tractor compared to the RRS. Thumbs Up

Did you find the Sport smaller inside or drive better etc?

Its slightly smaller inside, the L322 has a longer boot and the famous fold down boot lid but I think the RRS is more of a drivers car, the suspension is a firmer and it feels more nimble imho.

Take both out for a test ride and see what you think.

Plenty of room for passengers.
Boot space is small though if that matters?
Are you tall?

Not too fussed about boot space, I don't tend to carry much on board. I'm 6ft 2 and find the l322 has more than enough room for me. Although I did have a Defender before that and didn't find that too uncomfortable.

What caught me out, is that if you have the rear seats down and folded flat, the front seats have to be quite far forward.

In normal use there is plenty of room.
