A few things

Hey peeps, I currently have an issue with my sat nav where it just decides to freeze now and then and restart and just not work, sometimes I get a black screen but can hear the noises ect ect then it's fine, it also resets itself to Belgium every time I turn my egnition on and of....

Next issue is my front wishbones passed there not but now when I brake and take of at slow speed they are making a clunking sound, my friend at Range Rover has told me he could get me aftermarket ones for £450 or genuine for £650 plus £75 for something... I have noticed there on eBay for a lot less so if anyone could advise me of a good seller on eBay or else where that would be great, it's the front ones. Also can I drive with these like this as he said yea it's fine and he can't do the job for a few weeks but it's ok to drive it like this....

Thanks in advance

Don't know about the sat nav, but the knocking as you describe will be the front lower arms, rear bushes. When I did mine I just replaced the bushes, think it was less than £100 for both sides gen parts. I was lucky both bolts came out so that saved me a lot of time, labour didn't come into it as did the job myself.
Before changing just the bushes make sure the front bush and ball joint are ok as it's pointless otherwise. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

It sounds like the disc or drive might be struggling to load. i thought there was someone else here who also said there sat nav was defaulting to Belgium. Try searching for "Belgium".

As for the bushes, don't rush out and buy some Ebay specials, genuine LR parts are available at very competitive prices from some of the well known distributors. If you are in Scotland, I'd PM Disco_mikey, as he's a very well regarded mobile mechanic up your way, and knows these vehicles inside out. Thumbs Up

Re sat nav, as it's defaulting to Belgium, could it be a bad connection or earth? Without power I guess it forces the default settings. Robin
