United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
Red Sport with Winch

Spotted a red sport with a winch on the front at the start of one of the stages of the Malcolm Wilson, think it had a plate starting X1, wondering if its anyone off here?

Red as in Firenze/ Montalchino Red or Red as in Tangiers Orange with loads of stickers - if the later then it would be a G4 Challenge car and they had them from the factory. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Fairly sure it was Firenze, caught my eye because its a fairly unusual colour, I think it was on discovery rims with maybe 7 fairly big spokes. Looked good Smile

There was also a G4 disco at the start of one of the other stages.

I ran my TDv8 on Goodyear MTR's on Disco3 HSE rims, would like a winch for my L494 but it isn't easy without going down the one-off specialist mounting route and that is hugely expensive and requires some modification to parking sensor locations or loosing them............. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Disco rims look like a good option, I hate the look of the smaller RRS wheels, but would like a little more sidewall than with the 20s. Don't think I'm committed enough to fit a winch, although it would be very reassuring when laning.

I had the 19" D3 rims from the G4 Challenge D3, they were one of the few designs that fitted over the TDV8's Brembo brake calipers. The Goodyear Eagle MTRs worn very well and when I sold the TDv8 I sold those rims to a G4 Disco3 owner who wanted a set of what should have been on his car but the previous owner had removed for road biased tyres and ordinary D3 wheels.... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
