I did a DSC fluid and filter change on my 2010 TDV8 last week and to my amazement I found the big nut which gives you access to the filter in the DSC valve block was only hand tight. It is supposed to be torqued to 62Nm. There has been no reason for my local dealer to touch this item so it must have been like this since new ( I am the original owner). The nut requires a 38mm socket so it cant be undone unless you really want to do so. Could this be another Landrover quality issue.

How often should this filter and/or fluid be changed?
Schedule says every 5 years or 75K but local dealer does it "on advisory only"??? Visitor from fullfatrr.com

On my old Discovery 2 I changed the ACE fluid and filter every 2 years. Its probably over the top but in the 9 years that I owned the vehicle no issues were ever forthcoming.

The DSC system is worked quite hard so it makes good sense to keep it in tip top shape. The cost of repairs is not worth thinking about.
